CADES Town Hall: SLURM Migration, Aug. 27 11:00am, 5700 MS A104

Cades Town Hall meetings are your opportunity to speak with center personnel to get the latest updates and to express any concerns you may have. We will begin each meeting with a short training or user experience talk aimed to help you get the most out of CADES. The next meeting is:

Monthly Topic: CADES migration from Moab to SLURM job scheduler.

CADES resources will begin transitioning to the SLURM job scheduler by early next year. This means that you will need to use slightly different batch scripts and commands to submit and check jobs and to query the queue. We will cover these new features and demonstrate how to test and modify your existing jobs scripts against a SLURM evaluation system. Please come ready to ask questions about this topic or any other CADES issues.
